These damaged areas can cause back-ups, SSOs (Sanitary Sewer Overflows) or CSOs (Combined Sewer Overflows) just as much as if it was the whole line section needing to be rehabilitated. However, the traditional dig-and-replace method or lining of the whole line section is not required and would be cost-prohibitive in this situation.
