What is UV Cured CIPP?
The UV Cured liner is installed inside the existing pipe to form a pipe inside a pipe. This structurally rehabilitates the existing pipe and increases the flow characteristics while keeping roots and groundwater out.
UV Cured liners begin with similar materials such as felt or fiberglass as a carrier for the resin. The resin uses a photo-initiator that hardens in the presence of UV Cold Cure technology.
UV Curing has many advantages.
It provides for quicker installation in most applications, which helps lower cost. The liner material can be wet out offsite which in turn causes less disruption to the property owner and speeds up the time onsite. UV Curing can use non-VOC resins which are stronger and of higher quality. The curing process is more predictable and repeatable.
